Working in sales can be a really stressful job, especially when dealing with miscommunication between customers or potential clients. But in some situations, those misunderstandings can be hilarious too!

Recently, a salesperson shared a rather awkward WhatsApp conversation that took place between him and a client on a Facebook group known as, Boom Go Employee. The funny but slightly uncomfortable conversation happened when the client misunderstood a question that was asked.

The salesperson messaged the client asking for the client’s sex as he needed to fill up a registration form. As the salesperson had not met this person before, he wasn’t sure if the client he was speaking to was a male or female.

However, when he asked the client the question, he didn’t receive the kind of response he was expecting.

Salesperson: May I know your sex?

Client: ??? Why [do] you want to know?

Salesperson: [The] registration form needs it.

Client: 2 times.

Salesperson: Sorry, I meant [your] gender.

As you can see, there was a clear miscommunication issue here whereby the client mistook the salesperson’s question and thought he was asking for the number of times he had sex!

The Facebook post garnered over 1,300 shares, 2,200 likes and 340 comments!
