And we are back with another series of ‘My boss gives me hell’.

This time around, the topic revolves around employees taking sick leave or a Medical Certificate (MC).

An employee shared a conversation between him and his boss on a Facebook group, Boom Go Employee, where he informed his boss that he is not feeling well and will have to take leave.

However, the boss gave the employee a hard time by asking him a ridiculous question. Take a look!

The screenshot read:

Employee: Good morning boss. Today I have to take leave.

Boss: What’s the reason?

Employee: Vomiting and diarrhoea, I think it’s food poisoning.

Boss: Okay, so later go consult a doctor then take picture of MC and show me.

*Employee sends a picture of the MC*

Boss: If you can go see the doctor, why can’t you come to the office?

For illustration purposes only.

Yes! The boss really did say that!

Although it may seem funny, this is very unfair! We sympathise with the employee… poor thing!

The post has garnered over 300 shares, 1,300 likes, and 300 comments, all of which netizens either criticised or made fun of the boss’s ridiculous question.
