“You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain”. Well, this quote kind of came true because Marvel already confirmed Batman star Christian Bale’s role as villain Gorr the God Butcher in the new Thor movie!
The academy award-winning star Christian Bale will play fictional supervillain Gorr the God Butcher, an alien born in a planet without a name in the highly anticipated new Thor movie, “Thor: Love and Thunder”.
Other than Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson will return as Valkyrie, and Natalie Portman will also return to her role as Jane Foster, whom the director Taika Waititi confirmed will become the Mighty Thor, Goddess of Thunder.
Christian Bale as the villain and a female Thor? There is so much to look forward to in phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
The movie Thor: Love and Thunder will be in the theatres on 6 May 2022.
