The Penang Bridge International Marathon took place recently and as part of the celebrations, they gave out 2 Proton Sagas are lucky draw prizes.

And lucky doesn’t even begin to describe one of the winners of the cars.

According to a report by China Press, one of the winners, a 55-year-old man, was the 14th person to be drawn for the Proton Saga as the 13 people ahead of him that was called had not shown up!

Lucky Draw 1

As the master of ceremonies had called his name as the 14th person drawn for the prize, he happily ran to the stage to claim the car. This is allegedly also his first time participating in the 10km Penang Bridge International Marathon and has won the grand prize!

When asked what he would do with the car, he mentioned that he will be giving it to his wife as she is just about to receive her driving license. How sweet!

He said that he was very happy and feels extremely lucky to have won the car, especially considering he was the 14th person called, and encourages others to participate in the marathon and to support the event.
