A man in China recently lent his car to a friend and little did he know, his ride went viral for the wrong reasons.

His friend borrowed his car to film an adult content and the most surprising part is that he made no effort to censor the car registration number.

The car owner bought a Xiaomi SU7. In early November, a friend who ran a car rental company accepted a rental order for SU7, but the company did not have enough cars, so he asked the friend to help find a car in the car club as an emergency.

However, the friend’s price was too low, and even after the man helped forward the message, no one from the car club responded.

After thinking about it, he decided to lend his SU7 to his friend because he had promised to do so, reported ETtoday.

Upon returning, he noticed some stains in the car but did not think much about it. He sent the car to be cleaned and did not even bother to check the dashcam footage.

The truth, however, was revealed on November 16 – the adult content went viral and it happened to be forwarded into the chat group that the car owner was in.

One of the participants in the chat group shared a screenshot of the adult video, which shows the car with his registration number displayed. It was embarrassing for him because many participants of the chat group asked if he was part of the production of the adult video.

The car owner was so angry that he contacted the car rental company and asked for a negotiation with the lessee. The police are currently involved in the investigation.

The next time your friend asks to borrow your car, you might want to check why.
