In a recent video by Director Von Wong, he and his team featured The Royal Istana of Kuala Terengganu which they had the pleasure of visiting.
The palace took 15 years to build and it comprises over 100 rooms, halls with 3-storey high ceilings, and doors so large you only thought existed in movies. The spectacular architecture design by Bill Bensley captures the Islamic culture with a few modern twists.
Look at this place! I’m sure their toilet is even more amazing that anyone’s entire home! and no, the palace is not open to public but through invite-only. Yes, INVITE-ONLY. (Our chance to visit this place is practically crushed).
In one hand the beauty of the design and structure of the building really captivates one’s soul. However, being a citizen of Malaysia, it’s hurts to see our tax payer’s money stamped across the magnificent white walls. However, looking past that, one cannot deny that the Royal Istana of Kuala Terengganu truly is majestic.
