Does anyone know Makcik Kiah? Can introduce?

— The Garuda (@HRDipendra) March 27, 2020

All jokes aside, if you followed the announcement of the Covid-19 Stimulus Package by our PM, you would’ve been introduced to Makcik Kiah then.

We hate to break it to you but Makcik Kiah does not exist. She is an analogy used by the Prime Minister to explain about Economic Stimulus Package. What a great analogy though!

Makcik Kiah, the humble Pisang Goreng seller had managed to both befuddle all of us collectively and also enjoy the benefits of the Economic Stimulus Package.

If you missed the analogy, here’s a short cut out of the script!

A genius analogy indeed! Alas, we have revealed the true identity of Makcik Kiah to you. We hope you can sleep a little better now.

Of course, after the anaology given by our dear PM, everyone took to Twitter to express how amazing Makcik Kiah is! We love the inside joke of this!

So, did you pay close attention to the story of Makcik Kiah my fellow friends?
