Add some pizzazz into your life with a little DIY!

As with all festivities, most of us will want to change up some old furniture in our house. For some, their financial situation may not permit big renovations or anything of that sort. The solution to that will be to revamp certain things in our house.

Aiman Ariff, an artist and DIY enthusiast has shared a pretty nifty DIY idea on Twitter which has since gone viral.

The original bedside table from IKEA costs RM39 and the other things needed to complete the DIY are:

  • A black mounting board
  • A cutting blade
  • Some glue
  • Rattan webbing

The rattan webbing can be easily ordered from TITICANE on Shopee. There are multiple variations and sizes available so you can search in the store!

The first step is to measure out the hollow side of the table so that you can slot in the mounting board. This is only applicable for 3 sides as one side needs to be open for it to act as a drawer.

Measure out and paste the rattan webbing on the mounting board. When you have all your sides ready, just slot it in and it’s done! If you want it to be more secure, you could always use some hot glue!
