“Selangor, the state that they say have ‘intelligent people’, ruled by Pakatan Harapan (PH), many natural resources, wealthy state, but their people are not happy, among the states at the bottom of MHI ranking,”

According to MHI 2021, Malaysians are overall happy, whereby our country recorded a happiness score of 6.48. The study by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) found that the Federal Territory of Labuan is the happiest in Malaysia with a 9.29 score, followed by Kuala Lumpur (7.77), Putrajaya (7.28), Terengganu (7.2) and Kelantan (7.02). Meanwhile, Selangor has been categorised as ‘moderately happy’ with a score of 5.74.

Mohd Amar, who is also PAS vice president further stressed that the people of Kelantan must think wisely before thinking of voting in another government in the state. The Kelantan Deputy Menteri Besar was quoted of saying all the above during a ceramah or public rally in Pengkalan Chepa, Kota Bharu following the Kelantan State Legislative Assembly sitting.
