Weeks ago, Vin Diesel confirmed that Fast 11 will conclude the entire movie series in 2025. Rest assured that the movie is still happening but unexpectedly (or expectedly?), audiences around the world may just get more than that.
During a recent red carpet event in Rome, Italy, Vin Diesel may have let slip about a trilogy of Fast movies, which will begin with the upcoming Fast 10 (stylised as Fast X) slated for a release in cinemas on May 19. Vin told the media that the studio initially asked if Fast 10 could be a 2-parter, which will be continued in Fast 11.
“After the studio has seen Part 1, could you make Fast 10 the finale a trilogy?” Vin said.
Vin’s co-star, Michelle Rodriguez, who was beside him said that “it’s 3 X in any story.” The reporter excitedly asked the duo if they were confirming that the fans are getting a 3rd movie.
“Wait, did that just happen???”
Without confirming anything, Vin and Michelle immediately dodged the question and ran away. Well, Fans of Fast movies, the speculation begins now!
“My father’s legacy”
In the meantime, the daughter of the late Paul Walker, Meadow Walker confirmed that she will appear briefly in the upcoming Fast X, and said that she grew up watching the Fast movie.
“The 1st one was released when I was 1 year old. Thanks to my dad, I was born into the fast family,” Meadow said.
In her Instagram post, Meadow also said that she’s excited and proud to honor her late father’s legacy and share this with him forever. Paul Walker last appeared on Fast 7 in 2011 as he passed away due to a tragic accident.
The movie does not kill off his character, but his name was mentioned briefly throughout the sequels.
