Razer has been venturing out to many other things than just gaming equipments lately, with the Razer gaming smartphone lineup being one of the most popular phones amongst serious mobile gamers out there. Although the company is venturing out to other markets, they have always kept their unique philosophy and design aesthetics that make their gaming products so popular in the first place.
Well, the latest venture of Razer’s finanical technology arm, Razer Fintech surely shows just that. On October 6, they just released the Razer Card, a prepaid credit card in collaboration with Visa!
According to Razer’s press statement, this is a digital payment solution whereby anyone can use it as a virtual card for all Visa-accepted transactions without any subscription fee. However, you have the option to upgrade to a physical card through their Standard or Premium offering.
The Premium physical card is where the magic and fun begins, as get this,
It’s the first ever card that has an LED that lights up when you make payment!
Naturally, it’s the Razer logo that lights up and although not that useful, we’ve got admit, it’s super duper dope!
Currently available for beta testing for 1,337 lucky people in Singapore, here are the features of the Razer Card that makes it worth-while:
- The only prepaid card offering year-long cashback features on all transactions.
