A Hong Kong man was found guilty to having sex with a female dog on a hill yesterday.
Chung Lin-fai, 58, pleaded guilty to bestiality in court at the West Kowloon Magistrates’ Court recently.
A witness, who saw the construction worker luring a two-year-old canine to a stream notified the authorities when she found the dog severely distressed and bleeding from it’s lower body.
Soon after an examination is conducted, it was revealed that the dog had suffered physical damage to its genital area and alleged human semen was also found.
Chung’s lawyer stated that the defendant had lost his job and also suffered work-related injuries and hearing impairment, causing the lawyer to call for a psychological evaluation in an attempt to reduce the sentence.
Chung was allegedly giving the canine a shower before engaging in bestiality. He state that this is the first time he engaged in bestiality and it was under ‘a moment of confusion’, adding that the dog ‘did not resist’.
Chung is guilty of bestiality and the maximum penalty possible is a fine of HKD50,000 (RM28,561) fine and 10 years’ imprisonment.
