Good news, food-lovers! A new food brand is making its way to Malaysia and everybody couldn’t be anymore excited!
Malaysians will be seeing a new high-end brand pop up in supermarkets very soon.
The brand in question is Booths, an exclusive supermarket brand only available in Northern England.
Instead of taking their products to the South of England, the highly popular retailers decided to take their products across the globe to Malaysia.
Booths recently settled an agreement with Hong-Kong retailer, Dairy Farm International, which confirms that they will be bringing 40 of their best-selling products to 19 high-end stores across Malaysia.
Booths in Knutsford
Booths has been a staple supermarket in Northern England, which first started out as a tea shop in Blackpool in 1847 founded by Edwin Henry Booth. From then on, Booths continued to expand until it became the first chain of supermarkets to dominate the North of England.
This supermarket continues to be run by the Booth family to this day. In 2015, Booths won the award for “Independent Chain Retailer of the Year” at The Grocer Gold Awards.
This supermarket is known for its famous and high quality store-brand sauces, chutneys, teas, jams, coffees, breakfast food and snacks!
Currently no dates of when they are opening their stores in Malaysia have been released yet. All we know is that we can expect to see them in Malaysia very soon!
We personally can’t wait to try out these new products once they hit shelves here!
