Get married when you’re ready, and when you’re sure the partner whose hand you’re holding while exchanging vows is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.

A man in China recently made it clear that he was unhappy with his bride. Like an emotionless machine, he barely put on a smile during the wedding photo because he was not getting married to the woman of his dreams. In other words, the bride is not his type.

The groom, however, doesn’t have much say in terms of choosing the woman of his life. Before the wedding, he had been receiving pressure from family and relatives, who told him that “it’s better than staying single, so make do with who he has.”

No one wants him

The road to finding himself a partner wasn’t easy. That was due to his unstable financial condition, and many women avoided being his life partner. With his current bride, his relatives constantly reminded him that it’s much better than being alone.

The bride was happy but unfortunately, the groom couldn’t say the same for himself.

“It’s better than being single. At least both of you can work together for a better future, and don’t care about what others have to say,” his relatives told him.

According to the Chinese social media portal Sohu, It was also said that everyone at the scene understood why exactly the groom was unhappy, but everyone read the room and remained silent about it.

A life partner is not a small matter. Rush and choose the wrong one and you’ll probably be doomed for a lifetime. In this case, will you opt to remain single until you find the one, or just marry the one who is available for you?
