When life gives you oranges, you eat them… all 30kgs of them…

No one likes spending the extra money at airports for luggage fees. Most of us have been there.

Which is why we either end up unloading some of our items or just simply give in by paying for the luggage fees.

However, four men chose to eat 30kgs of oranges in less than 30 minutes at an airport in Kunming, Southwest China’s Yunnan Province, as the 300 yuan (RM189) luggage fee for the oranges was “more than they could afford.”

So, what’s the solution here? Eat it all as fast as they can, of course!

Orange 1

According to Global Times, Wang and his colleagues bought a big box of oranges, weighing 30kgs for 50 yuan, during a business trip to Kunming. However, as they were preparing to board the plane, the airport staff said they would have to charge them 10 yuan for each kilogram in shipping fees, which totals up to 300 yuan.

Finding it a little too expensive for them to pay, Wang and his colleagues made the decision to eat all of the oranges. Yes, 30kgs of it…

“We just stood there and ate the whole thing up. It took us about 20-30 minutes,” Wang said.

Oranges 2

After finishing up the whole box, they started to suffer from ulcers in their mouths. Ouch!

Regretting their decision, Wang said, “We never want to have any oranges again.”

I think we all feel the same way just by reading this story…
