Fahmi Reza is never far from controversy, as the graphic artist and activist, was barred from holding a forum circling on democracy at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
This was not a first for the activist, as Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) halted his ‘Kelas Demokrasi’ the day before.
Here is a clip of authorities stopping Fahmi Reza and dispersing students ‘attending’ his class.
In the clip Fahmi announced to the crowd that he had to stop the session, with the auxiliary police beginning to question him, amidst boos from the crowd.
However, in an update Fahmi mentioned that the session will be held elsewhere, at a different location.
In his tweet he writes, “#KelasDemokrasi@UiTM is continued at a new location, 0utside campus. Rasa Bumbu, Section 16, Shah Alam.”
On the very next day, Fahmi tweeted about the next location of his #KelasDemokrasi, which was scheduled in Universiti Malaya (UM), but also faced similar outcomes.
