Ex-Inspector General of Police Tells Public to Respect His Privacy After Viral Video of Squabble With Wife

It was recently reported that the second wife of a former senior police officer has lodged a police report claiming that her husband had beaten her at their home. The woman made a report regarding the incident at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail Police Station (TTDI).

According to Harian Metro, it is understood that the incident occurred after a fight broke out between the husband and wife which is believed to be caused by property and issues regarding their alimony. The woman in her 40s claimed that she was beaten by her husband on the head and back of the neck.

Meanwhile, the former police officer who is in his 70s has also made a report through his lawyer at the same police station. The former senior police officer made a report stating that he was beaten using a helmet in the incident.

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim when contacted confirmed that he had received a report regarding the incident.

Videos of the incident have since gone viral on social media. The videos which were recorded by the second wife showed the argument which they had as well as how the former police officer had snatched her phone away from her.

In the video, a child was also seen attempting to help his mother by attempting to get the phone back from the former police officer.

It has since been reported that the man in the video is in fact former Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan. He has since taken to Twitter to ask the public to respect his privacy and not interfere in his family’s affairs.

“This is a family matter and involves privacy. No one should interfere. Anyone who speculates will face legal action.”
