BYD SUV Crashes into a Massive Crocodile, Killing The Reptile as It’s Crossing Highway in Penanjong

A road accident on the highway at Kampong Penanjong, Brunei, caught the attention of social media users recently as it involved a hybrid SUV crashing into a Massive crocodile that was crossing the road.

Photos and videos of the incident have been circulating on social media, including this viral Facebook post, which reposted the photos.

In the photos, the carcass of a large crocodile can be seen on the road, with the hybrid SUV that hit it, a black BYD Sealion 6, nearby with significant damages to its front.

Meanwhile, in a video recorded by a road user passing by the incident that’s also circulating online, several bystanders can be seen redirecting the traffic away from the scene to ensure safety.

According to the Brunei-based publication Borneo Bulletin, the incident happened on the Penanjong-Tutong highway at Jamabtan Penanjong earlier this morning.

It is believed that the crocodile was crossing the highway when it was hit by the hybrid SUV.
