According to Sin Chew Daily, a Brazilian man allegedly performed a nose job on himself after watching some YouTube videos.

Later on, his wound was infected and was sent to the hospital for medical treatment.

When he was at the hospital he told the doctors that he had used a 70% alcohol solution to sterilize his nose. Then, he applied anesthesia used for animals on himself and began to give himself a nose job.

After he was done, he used superglue and dissolvable stitches to stitch his wound. He also mentioned that he did not wear any gloves throughout the process.

He didn’t clean off the excess blood that was around his nose as he didn’t want to “open up the stitches”.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of hygiene and sterilization, his wound got infected and ended up at the Campo Limpo Emergency Care Unit.

After disinfecting his wound by the ENT specialist, he was discharged the very same day.

According to plastic surgeon, Rodrigo Lacerda, who specializes in rhinoplasty, he mentions that the incisions have to be very precise because any carelessness could lead to necrosis and even nasal obstruction.

Please do not try this at home as it could lead to serious consequences. Please consult a proper aesthetic surgeon for professional advice.
