Working at a hotel is tough, especially for those working as housekeepers having to tidy up after unruly guests who make a big mess the night before.

This will lead to not only a huge amount of time  allocated for clean up, but also result in delays for those who are about to enter the room afterwards.

Taking to social media, one netizen shared her experience having to perform a major cleanup after a bachelorette party that took place the night before thrashed the hotel room.

“This is just another case why housekeeping is sometimes delayed.”

“When guests ‘over-celebrate’ and do not bother to clean up afterwards, this is what happens.”

“Most of us enjoy a good surprise or love to celebrate together but try to clean up afterwards la.”

“This will delay housekeeping work.”

Netizens commenting on the video was less than impressed with what they saw. One netizen even mentioned how important it was to help maintain cleanliness no matter where you are and help those doing the housekeeeping.

“This was our room before we checked-out. This is a norm for me. Discipline is key.”

Let’s hope that once this video goes up, people are reminded to be more civic minded when partying at a hotel room of their choice.

It is not that hard, people!
