There is no distance too far for those who travel with a purpose. This is what best exemplify this group of 4x4s as they may their way from the East Coast to Selangor, as part of their flood relief effort.
Taking to social media, netizen Khadijah Hidayah shared a video of a rescue convoy filled to the brim with flood relief equipment, on their way from Kelantan.
Accompanied by a police escort, the video featured a large number of participants, all taking part in the ‘Bantuan Balas Budi (returning a favour)’ effort from Kuala Krai, Kelantan to Selangor.
Garnering more than 10k likes, Malaysians commend the group for their efforts to help the cause.
Amazingly, one member of the convoy even shared his comments on the journey.
“I am also a part of the convoy. Pray for our safety.”
In their sharing session, it is understood that the group from Kuala Krai is heading to Selangor, after a group from Selangor drove all the way to Kuala Krai during a massive flood a few years ago.
Well, isn’t that inspirational? Let’s hope that this effort will spur more people to pitch in and lend a much needed helping hand to the flood victims.
