The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) have busted a group known as the ‘Geng Budak Sekolah’ (School Kids Gang) that has been active in sexual crimes, a case which includes the involvement of a 12-year-old girl.
According to a report by Sinar Harian, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail shared in the Dewan Rakyat today (August 19) that there was a website and a WhatsApp group consisting of 762 members, run by the girl and her 4 friends.

“Each of them took pictures of their own body parts and then sold (the pictures). She dropped out of school because her income was much higher than her parents.”
He added that in this case, the Home Ministry (KDN) needed to implement enforcement in accordance with the law relating to the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, in addition to obtaining views from various other agencies.
This case is being investigated under D11 (Sexual Crimes, Women and Children Investigation Division) at Bukit Aman.
