In another shocking case of animal abuse, this woman in South Korea actually killed the puppy that she bought because she couldn’t get a refund, Allkpop reports. The woman had purchased a three-month-old Maltese puppy from a pet shop in Gangneung, Gangwon province but wanted a refund shortly after.

She brought it home but called the shop seeking for a refund. However, her request was rejected by the pet shop owner. Apparently, she wanted a refund because she saw the puppy eating its own waste so she thought that it was sick. This behaviour is actually pretty normal for puppies and they will eventually grow out of it – if only she had looked it up online! She told the pet shop owner about this issue but he refused her request.

Just seven hours after buying the puppy, she went back to the pet shop with her husband and the poor little puppy in a dog carrier. She demanded a refund but the owner did not allow this because he said issues related to food are not covered in the 10-day warranty contract.

She even accused him of scamming her by selling her an ill dog and in the heat of the moment, she pulled out the innocent dog and threw it on the floor. Sadly, the puppy died the next day due to cerebral haemorrhage, Dispatch reported.

The pet shop owner called the woman and told her that he wanted to file a suit but she didn’t think anything of it. She even said that she was “sorry for all the puppies sold there.” However, when the owner released the incriminating CCTV footage of her throwing the puppy, she changed her tone.

“The owner said he could give me a refund but he didn’t want to because he was upset (with me), so I threw it out of anger. I didn’t know it would actually die. The next day, I calmed down and I sent a lengthy text message, apologising to the owner and the puppy. I was shocked to hear the puppy has died. I’m very apologetic to the puppy and I’m regretful of my actions. I don’t think I could forgive myself. I admit I’ve done something worthy of criticism. I don’t want to blow things up anymore. I will reflect on my actions for the rest of my life and will volunteer at stray dog shelters,” she said. Yeah, a puppy died because of your temper!

Despite her apology, it was reported that the pet shop owner will still go forward with the lawsuit.
