A couple of years ago, a 26-year-old Malaysian woman took away her own life by jumping off a building in Klang over financial issues.

Just this afternoon, another woman allegedly jumped off the same building. According to China Press, the incident happened around 1pm in 22 October, and the details of the female victim are yet to be disclosed. The body of the deceased was found at the entrance of the car park at Klang Parade Mall, which is the exact spot of the suicide that took place 2 years ago.

This incident has caused some netizens to dub this an “infectious suicide.”

My Selangor Facebook Page had also uploaded a video showing slow traffic and people surrounding the scene, with the person who recorded the video can be heard highlighting that was the same spot as the previous suicide case.

At the time of writing, the investigation is still ongoing and the police are still determining the nature of the incident.

Stay tuned for more updates!
