Know a friend who can demolish a tub of ice cream in just one sitting? Well, it’s time to tag that friend because the Inside Scoop ice cream eating challenge is back!

This challenge will give you a massive dose of brain freeze because contestants will need to chow down 12 scoops of ice cream in the shortest time possible! If you have sensitive teeth and gums, you might want to give this a pass.

Of course, this challenge is not a one-man show (phew!); you’re required to jio two other friends to form a team of three. The fastest team to complete the challenge of finishing 12 scoops of ice cream wins!

To make the challenge more dramatic, there would be a regional round held at each outlet nationwide. The 18 winning teams will then compete against each other at the final round in Sunway Pyramid on 25 November.

  3. Melaka – 9 November, 8.30pm
  4. Johor – 10 November, 8.30pm
  5. Sunway Pyramid – 11 November, 4pm
  6. IOI City Mall Putrajaya – 12 November, 4pm
  7. Old Klang Road – 13 November, 8.30pm
  8. Mahkota Cheras – 14 November, 8.30pm
  9. B.I.G Publika – 15 November, 8.30pm
  10. Setia Alam – 16 November, 8.30pm
  11. Kota Kemuning – 17 November, 8.30pm
  12. The Gardens Mall – 18 November, 4pm
  13. Taman Segar – 19 November, 4pm
  14. Bangsar – 20 November, 8.30pm
  15. Puchong – 21 November, 8.30pm
  16. Sri Petaling – 22 November, 8.30pm
  17. B.I.G Ikano Power Centre – 23 November, 8.30pm
  18. Suria KLCC – 24 November, 8.30pm

 

To enter the competition, here’s what you need to know and do:

  • Buy an ice cream at the Inside Scoop outlet that you wish to compete in
  • Write your details such as IC number, contact number, email address and team name on the receipt
  • Put the receipt in the ballot bowl
  • Multiple entries are accepted; this will increase you chances of being selected!
  • Five teams will be randomly selected and announced a day before the competition
  • Only selected teams will be notified
