What was supposed to be a burglary turned into a rape case.

Just yesterday, three burglars quietly broke into a house in Kampung Rantau Panjang during the wee hours of the morning and raped a woman who was sound asleep, according to Sinchew.

It was believed that the culprits bent the window’s iron bar and snuck into the house without alerting the occupants at about 4am.

During the incident, the 34-year-old wife was sleeping alone in her room while her husband was sleeping on the couch in the living room. Unfortunately, while searching for valuables in the property, one of the burglars got aroused and decided to rape the woman.

The man entered her room while his accomplices kept looking for valuables. He held the victim at knifepoint and threatened to kill her husband if she screamed. So she obeyed his order and got violated.

When the men had left the house, the wife quickly alerted her husband and neighbours. They gave chase but the men were already gone by then.

It was reported that a wallet with RM300 and several cards in it were stolen, and the intruders are believed to be Indonesians, said North Klang police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Yusoff.

The traumatised victim was sent to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital for medical examination.

We hope the intruders will be caught swiftly so that justice will be served!
