Trouble recently erupted when a kid in Guangzhou, China drank from a cup of milk tea that was placed on the counter at a shop.

That beverage was meant for another customer

The shop assistant prepared the drink for a customer and placed it on the counter at the self-pick-up area. The kid, however, “rushed” towards the beverage and drank it. The mum, however, did not extend an apology for the matter.

Instead, she blamed the staff for placing the beverage in an area that was accessible to her kid

The unhappy staff then responded to the mother by shouting, “Is that a reason for your kid to steal?”

The situation escalated as the mother proceeded to grab the staff by her hair and push her to the ground while hurling vulgarities at her. The unfortunate staff was not the only one who received the woman’s fists of fury that day.

The security guard who tried to stop the woman from leaving after one of the patrons called the police also got his arm bitten by the woman. However, the violence did not stop there.

The mum then sat on a chair and took a knife from her bag before waving the blade at her surroundings! Both her kids who were at the scene watched as everything unfolded.

“Who asked you to place the beverage there?!” the mum defended her kids (and herself).

Professional milk tea stealer?

So, did the kids steal the beverage? Based on CCTV footage, it clearly showed one of the kids casually taking the beverage from the counter. According to a post by Sohu, it was not the family’s first rodeo and the kids were merely following their mum’s instructions.

The mother has allegedly committed the same theft at other places and in this case, the family eventually left the store without any action taken against them. You can watch the viral video of the entire incident below.

It’s in a mother’s nature to protect her flesh and blood, but in this case, what do you think?
