Taking to Twitter, this man shared a video of him taking down ads posted by loan sharks because he did not want people to experience what he experienced borrowing money from loan sharks.

“I don’t want people to plunge into trouble as I did.”

Here is a video of him in action.

Working as a security officer, this man can be seen taking down ads posted on poles around his housing area, stating that he was once some of the few that borrowed money from loan sharks.

“Three years ago, I took a loan of RM2,000 and had to pay back almost RM20,000, to help me start my new life in Singapore.”

“I could not settle my loan, until I got married, and my salary of RM4,000 to RM5,000 a month was only meant to repay my loan.”

After settling his loan, after almost three years, he is now on a life mission to stop others from being a victim like him, by taking down posters in his housing area.

“All these posters are illegally posted around Ipoh. So, I took it upon me to take them down.”

Let’s hope more people like this will help eradicate our society of loan sharks.
