WATCH: Restaurant in Kedah Praised For Offering Free Meals, Won’t Even Accept Monetary Donations

With the introduction of the Menu Rahmah initiative by the government, plenty of eateries have been coming up with their own Menu Rahmah offerings.

However, a restaurant in Kedah has taken this to another level by offering completely free food to the first 500 people everyday from Sunday to Friday.

The restaurant called ‘Rumah Makan Percuma’ has even shared their services on TikTok where they displayed the types of food they offer to their customers.

In fact, the restaurant has even been visited by Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu and have even received visitors all the way from Sarawak!

Good initiative

The videos by ‘Rumah Makan Percuma’ on their TikTok account have since gone viral. Netizens praised the restaurant for going above and beyond the Menu Rahmah concept by offering free food.

“Menu Rahmah ❌, the most Rahmah ✅.”

Meanwhile, a couple of users asked if they could donate money to the restaurant to help fund the initiative, however, the restaurant has clarified that they do not accept monetary donations. However, they do accept donations in terms of goods and stock.
