A video showing a white sedan hitting multiple vehicles along Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur, on 13 October 2026 has circulated on social media.
The incident reportedly occurred at around 11.33am opposite Makan Street in Mega Mendung. Footage of the incident was shared on Instagram by a user identified as Ryko Lim.
A loud impact followed by multiple collisions
According to the Instagram user, a loud impact was heard before they noticed that the rear section of a parked grey vehicle had been damaged.
Shortly afterwards, a white sedan reportedly hit several other vehicles, including a lorry and a delivery van parked along the roadside.
The incident drew the attention of nearby bystanders and workers who came out to see what had happened.
Driver reportedly claims vehicle malfunction
Following the incident, a visibly distressed man in a white shirt approached the driver. According to the Instagram account, one of the man’s family members had been nearby when the collisions occurred.
The Instagram user also claimed that the driver said his vehicle had experienced a sudden mechanical failure and that he was attempting to drive it to a nearby workshop for repairs.
However, the alleged mechanical failure has not been independently confirmed.
The Instagram user urged the public not to jump to conclusions or shame those involved before the circumstances of the incident are established.
