Now, we all know the struggle of failing to make the payment at a toll gate and having to reverse out while other vehicles have already queued up behind you.

Either way, you’d normally have to reverse out, right? One man decided that he wasn’t going to do that.

我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians recently took to their Facebook page to share a video showcasing a man getting down from his car at a toll booth and physically breaking the boom gate to allow his car to pass.

They wrote, “Maybe he’s rushing to pangsai (take a poop).”

In the video, the man driving a black car can be seen trying to move past the toll booth but the boom gate wasn’t opening because he had insufficient balance.

“Insufficient balance, stupid. He’s not reading (the display),” the person behind the man said.

He then got down from his car and angrily pushed at the boom gate, breaking it, before getting back into his car.

This incident is believed to have taken place in Sunway.

Call for action to be taken against the man

The video has gone viral and captured the attention of Malaysians who commented on the issue.

“Time to pay back for the damages and the ‘inconveniences’ that he caused.”

“After he pangsai (takes a poop) he can pay a fine and compensation for the damages. Cool,” said another.

A user commented, “There’s his number plate, what else, just take action. This isn’t the time and place for his anger, it’s best not to create trouble these days, there are cameras, handphones, CCTVs. Have some humility.”

Boom Gate 3

Some have also pointed out that the man could have been angered by the RFID system not functioning properly (though the person recording the man shared in the video that it was an issue of insufficient balance), it still doesn’t justify the man’s actions of breaking the boom gate.

What do you think angered the man that much?
