Driving during a rainy day can be quite challenging as the roads are slippery and your vehicle may not respond to braking properly due to hydroplaning or aquaplaning.

With that in mind, motorcyclists have it worse as the wet road makes it hard to manoeuvre while the rain on the helmet’s visors could limit your vision.

That is exactly what happened to a motorcyclist in Singapore recently, who ended up falling from his motorcycle after braking too hard and ended up sliding on his bum all the way across to the other side of the crossroad he was at.

The dashcam video of the incident was shared by SG Road Vigilante and has since gone viral.

The incident reportedly happened at about 3:45pm on Friday (January 13) at Jurong Town Hall Road. Thankfully, the motorcyclist escaped without any injuries as the wet road meant that he aquaplaned on his bum safely across the crossroad.

Furthermore, his slide across the road in a seated position with his legs outstretched may look comical but it pretty much ensured his safety. At the end of the clip, you can see that the man casually stood back up and went back to his motorcycle.
