Accidents involving bikers often occur and everyday they put their lives in danger just by being on the road. Yes there are so many other factors that could lead to an accident but motorcyclists should always be extra careful to avoid any unwanted events.

A recent incident involving a motorcyclist was shared on JPJ / POLIS Roadblock Info Facebook page. The 22-second video shows a biker at the jaws of death when he was nearly run over by a moving truck. From the video, it can be seen that the biker was at the front of the truck, which is considered a blindspot for the truck driver. Hence the driver was not aware of his presence.Ā

It was clear that the truck did hit the bike, or probably gave it a nudge but the swift action of the biker to manoeuvre his bike to the side of the road definitely saved his life. The truck then went on with his journey unaware that he almost ran over the biker.

To all the bikers out there, we understand that the road is simply not safe for you guys. However, the only way to manage this is to be extra careful on the road, especially when it comes to riding at blindspots. You might be putting your life in danger without you knowing it. So please be safe on the road!
