Uncle Ben once told us that “with great power comes great responsibility,” and there is no greater responsibility in the world than that of being a father.

While parenting is a shared responsibility, fatherhood has its standards when it comes to raising children.

While dads worldwide are, in general, very responsible human beings, it’s the small, small things that happen besmirch fatherhood, especially in the eyes of women folk.

Such an incident is this example that took place in China.

Shared on Twitter, @aizadfahmy showed an example of a dad in action trying to look for his missing baby, that made all us dads die a little inside.

After spending some time on his phone, it was at this moment that he realized that his stroller was empty when there should have been his baby in it.

As panic ensued, daddy starts looking around in all sorts of places to spot where he may have misplaced his baby.

After spending a few seconds looking around in frenzy, it was only then did he realize that his baby was in his carrier all along.

He patted the baby, and it was at this moment we can ‘literally’ see the rush of relief he felt after realizing how absent minded he was.

One netizen likened the feeling to everyday items that we usually would misplace despite it being nearby.

“It has the same energy to that of placing your glasses on top of your head, or tucking a pencil at your ear or realising that your handphone was in your hands.”

Indeed you can never equate glasses to a baby, but we can relate.

Any funny dad moments you’ve seen recently, share it with us in the comments section below.
