As a public figure, if your dirty laundry gets exposed online, chances are it’ll hurt your reputation, a lot. A local businesswoman/TikToker’s exposé of her cheating husband became the talk of the town during the weekend.
Her husband, who was caught cheating with one of their staff responded briefly to the matter last night (April 17) via a Facebook post. Let’s just say, the exposed private affair did not only ruin his reputation but also his business in a major way.
“My clients are leaving”
The man started by apologising to his followers for the late response, and revealed that he was occupied with clearing his stuff back at home. He’s moving out but did not disclose his choice of “safe haven”.
This was not the only thing that has been keeping him occupied. He also had to handle clients who are asking for refunds due to the viral issue.
“The sellers of other brands have been asking me about the issue. They want their money back, so I have to answer them and return the money to them 1 by 1. I have to fulfill my responsibilities first.”
In his post, he also acknowledged this as a huge challenge in his life and career and said that he will issue a statement regarding this matter as soon as he can.
He made it clear that he has A LOT on his plate right now, and he’s doing his best to sort the matters out. As if moving out and handling leaving clients are not bad enough, he has to deal with another concern – public disruption.
“I can’t run my business now. My shop has been disturbed by the public, and some of them are also harassing my employees.”
With only 1 private affair exposed, it seems that his life is going downhill. At the time of writing, the employee who he is having an affair with has yet to respond on the matter.
Regardless, we hope that the matter will be resolved and all parties are able to heal and move on soon, for the sake of their children.
