Video: Heartbreaking Moment Baby Cries & Reaches For Her Dead Mother At Her Wake

A mother’s love knows no boundaries, and it has been said that both mother and child may share a special bond that is irreplaceable. Not only do they care for us, but they also nurture us and protect us from the world. There are more reasons than you know to cherish your mother, so brb while we go and text our mums.

But for some people, they may have to go through life without experiencing the care and affection of their mothers, whether it be due to being abandoned by their own parents or worse still, being orphaned. In this heartbreaking incident that was recently uploaded to Twitter, a baby was said to have lost her mother tragically at a very young age.

We warn you, what you’ll see will break your heart. 

In the video that was uploaded alongside the Tweet, a baby can be seen tearfully crying next to the corpse of her own mother at her mother’s wake. The rest of the family look on in tears as the young child tries to reach for her mother’s face, bawling out her eyes.

Completely inconsolable, she continues to cry as she is laid next to her mother’s face and tries to reach out for her with her hands.

As she continues to reach for her deceased mother, her remaining family tries to comfort her to the best of their efforts. But seemingly as though she could understand the irreversible fate of death and grief, even at such a tender age, the baby infant continues to sob out loud.

What is more tragic still is that the infant’s late-mother had left her with last words, which were also included in the Tweet.

22nd April 2018 was when you were brought into this world, bringing
much joy to our family. You became the apple of our eye, everything
we had ever wanted. I pray only for the best for you.

Continue your journey in life alongside mummy and daddy, and we
won’t ever let go of you. Even when you’ve grown into an adult, you
will always remain my little girl.  As you continue to walk along the
path of life, regardless of how bad days may get, mummy and daddy
will always be here for you.

You don’t need to compare yourself with anybody else, because every
child is unique and will never be the same. Just do your best for
whatever it is that you wish to do. Be brave, my child, brave enough
to show the world that every step you take will become successful.

Believe in yourself, so that you can make your ancestors proud.
Don’t try to change yourself to be like other people, because you
are capable of proving to the world that you are enough.

Always speak with respect, so you will be respected by all.

The Tweet has since gone viral, with over 40k reTweets, with many netizens expressing their sheer sadness and grief over the heartbreaking scene of how such a young infant grieved for her own mother.
