A local woman earned the praises of netizens online for the kindness she displayed in taking care of an elderly Singaporean man who was covered in blood after being involved in a motorcycle accident near the Tanjung Kupang toll road in Johor.
According to a report by Berita Harian, 2 people were injured in the incident which took place at 6:40pm on Wednesday (January 8).
“I’m not sure how the accident happened, but when I arrived, I saw 2 people lying on the road. One was not very badly injured, but the other, a 68-year-old Chinese man from Singapore, was seriously injured. He had cuts on his face and hands, and was bleeding non-stop,”
“Many motorbike riders who were returning from work stopped to help, lifted the motorbike and the victim. Suddenly, this Malay sister showed up. She quickly gave the uncle emergency aid. Guys, I want to say from the bottom of my heart, this is the first time in my life that I have seen an ‘angel’ in front of my eyes,” a netizen who was at the scene shared.
They went on to explain how meticulous and gentle the woman was.
“The way she handled the uncle, the way she took care of him, it was like taking care of her own father. The uncle’s condition was really bad, the uncle was getting weaker, and a lot of blood was pouring out non-stop. The uncle was about to faint but the sister never gave up and tried her best to calm him down,” they added.
The woman allegedly stayed by the uncle’s side until the ambulance arrived to take him to a hospital for treatment.
“After the uncle was taken away by the ambulance, those of us who were at the scene helped push the uncle’s motorbike onto a Hilux. When everything was over, I noticed that the sister was no longer there. I don’t know her name, I don’t know where she came from, but I believe God sent her there,”
“I just want to say one thing to this sister’s parents. Your daughter is truly an angel. Thank you, sister.”
