Travelling Soon? Here’s How To Check If Your Malaysian Passport Is Good To Go

Recently, with travel restrictions lifting, many people are excited to leave the country for their long overdue vacations.

But, there has been several cases where travelers are facing passport issues and here’s how you can check if your passport is good to go:

  • Step 1: Head over to the immigration website

  • Step 2: Go through the terms and condition and click “setuju”

  • Step 3: Fill in your details and click “carian”

  • Step 4:  If it shows this page, and the phrase “permohonan bermasalah” appears, it means that there’s an issue with your passport. You should proceed to the UTC branch that you got your passport done to have it fixed

  • Step 5: If it shows this page, it means that your passport is good to go and you can now travel in peace

It’s best to check your passport and make sure that all your required documents are valid before travelling in order to avoid any last minute cancellations/issues.
