Food delivery riders are truly some of the most hardworking people in Malaysia as, in order to make a living for themselves and their loved ones, they’re willing to endure rain or shine while making as many deliveries as they can in a day.

While some of them have the advantage of having a motorcycle, there are delivery riders who use less motorised modes of transportation.

For instance, the Viral Perak Twitter page took to their profile to showcase a FoodPanda delivery rider in Ipoh who cycles to make her deliveries.

Cycle 1

They wrote, “Don’t know why we feel so excited today but we’re so proud of this woman. She’s doing FoodPanda deliveries on a bicycle. And yes, they do exist. Keep your enthusiasm going, sister!”

It’s truly inspiring to see Malaysians who are willing to work hard, through difficult conditions, in order to make an honest living.

Cycle 4

Many netizens praised her work ethic, pointing out that if they were in her position, their thighs would be burning from tiredness.

Cycle 3

This comment goes, “May she have bountiful blessings. Riding a motorcycle in the heat is already tiring. Imagine cycling.”

Cycle 4

This comment says, “The enthusiasm to survive. There are also Foodpanda delivery staff in Kuching who walk to make deliveries.”

We genuinely hope that this delivery rider remains safe and sound while she cycles to make her deliveries, as we know how dangerous Malaysian roads can get for cyclists.

Kudos, kakak FoodPanda, for showing us that making an honest living is better than resorting to unethical ways of income.

What do you think about this? Let us know in the comment section.
