Syrian Refugee Vows To Sell His Kidneys Just To Buy a Tent As Shelter For His 8 Kids
A father’s love knows no bounds especially when he has to provide for his family. He would go to any measure to make sure his family is safe and sound. This father showed just how far he’d go to make sure his family has a roof over their heads.
Jamal Baraoud from Syria has eight kids who each have their own medical problems like kidney problems, growth issues, epilepsy and many others. Once working as a tailor before the war, Jamal was arrested for his revolutionary activities and was tortured in a security branch till his neck was broken which left him jobless. Due to his situation, he was unable to provide for his family so out of desperation he posed with a placard saying that he’s willing to sell his kidneys to buy a shelter for his family.
“I have been displaced 27 days ago. I will sell my kidney for a tent to shelter me and my family, because I only have God on my side.”
Zamanalwsl reported that many people has come forward to offer support to Baroud but he insisted that he only wants medical aid for his children or to help them leave Syria away from war, suffering and constant fear. He added that his kids haven’t attended school for more than two years and he’s even considering suicide with his children at this point so they can finally rest and he can’t bear to see them in cold and hunger anymore.
Our heart goes out to Baroud and his family during these trying times but also to not lose hope. Just remember that your family needs you!
