It’s that season again (no, not Christmas!) when Malaysia starts to flood everywhere.

The monsoon season has began and many are already started to feel the effects of it, including Singaporeans.

Netizen, @tenggiling_berguling, took to his TikTok account to showcase a Singapore registered luxury car drifting away (no, not Tokyo Drift-styled!) in the floodwaters in Johor Bahru. This incident took place on Jalan Dato Sulaiman, near KSL City Mall.

Flood 1

He wrote, “6 December, 2023. Flood in Johor Bahru.”

In the video, a red Mercedes Benz with a Singaporean number plate could be seen floating away in the middle of a considerably flooded road, with its hazard lights flashing.

According to another post, by the Complaint Singapore Facebook group, no one was injured in the incident and the car was later recovered and towed back to Singapore.

Flood 2

While this particular incident may seem a little funny, the floods in Malaysia are no joke.

We genuinely hope that everyone stays safe during this difficult time and do not take risks on the road that may lead to unwanted and dangerous situations.
