The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar is such a famous figure that many can only hope to be granted an audience with him.

With that being said, having a Johor-born manager definitely would help your chances, if you’re a global megastar!

Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar took to his Facebook page to showcase his guest, Chinese actress Fan BingBing, who visited him after her attendance at the Singapore International Film Festival.

Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar wrote, “Tuanku Sultan Johor graciously grants audience to China’s top actress. His Majesty Tuanku Sultan Johor received an extraordinary visitor today (6 December) in the form of Fan BingBing – China’s mega movie star!”

“The celebrity who has a huge global following made the courtesy call as part of her engagements at the 34th Singapore International Film Festival. The visit was facilitated by her Johor-born international manager, Ms. Jersey Chong, who wanted to introduce BingBing to the future Yang di-Pertuan Agong.”

 

BingBing’s international manager, Jersey Chong, shared how proud she was that the Sultan of Johor will soon have his turn as the Paramount Ruler of our country very soon!

“As Anak Johor (a Johor kid), I am so proud that my Sultan will be the next King of Malaysia. We wrote officially to the Johor Istana to enquire if BingBing could call on His Majesty. We were thrilled when the reply came that Tuanku Sultan has graciously agreed to meet BingBing,” she said.
