Despite Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s announcement that all SPM students who receive 10As and above will be guaranteed Matriculation placements regardless of race, many with such results have appealed for a placement and have been rejected.

Rather than further disappointing these students, Sarawak state Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Datuk Dr Annuar Rapaee is now humbly inviting them to study in University of Technology Sarawak (UTS).

Taking to his Facebook page to extend the invitation, he added that they can do UTS’s Foundation Programme, completely FREE.

He wrote, “To student who failed to be offered Matriculation, I humbly invite those student to study for FREE in the Foundation Programme at UTS, Sibu.”

“As the Chairman of UTS, I will ensure that the children of Sarawak will be offered within 24 hours after applying.”

Should you be interested in applying for the complimentary Foundation Programme at UTS, you can email Datuk Dr Annuar Rapaee at moc.liamgobfsctd-8cefb9@akgnan55n.

In all honesty, the campus looks insanely cool. Interested students should definitely check it out on Google!
