While Sajat may be happier abroad, that does not mean she’s not undergoing emotional crisis beneath the laughter shared on social media.

Just recently, the controversial Malaysian entrepreneur shared her traumatic incident via a Facebook post and revealed that she was almost raped by an Arabic man at her shop in Australia.

Sajat said that the incident happened back in February, but she was only able to gather the strength to talk about it now. She was working at her shop in Australia as usual when she was approached by an Arabic man, whom Sajat described as 6 feet 2 inches tall. The man started grabbing her hands, to which Sajat told him no.

He told Sajat that he had locked the front door, and he knew that Sajat’s store has no CCTV.

“This means that he has been observing my shop for quite a long time.”

The Arabic man began to assault Sajat by choking and slapping her face. Despite being terrified, Sajat did not retaliate and in fact, she pretended like she liked it just to survive the ordeal.

“He might break the stuff in my shop. I told him that I would do whatever he wanted.”

He then started to take off his shirt and pants, revealing his private part before he “landed” his hands on Sajat’s breasts. She then tried to stop the man by telling him, “I’m dirty now. Why not we do it at my house, where I can clean up?”

The man excitedly agreed and continued to choke her, as well as kissing her face. Sajat, however, did not explain what happened afterward and said that she decided to lodge a police report after the man threatened her.

“If you tell this to anyone, I’ll make sure you lose your shop.”

Sajat also cried and said, “I could’ve died in there”. You can watch and listen to the full video below.

It’s unfortunate that Sajat had to go through a terrifying moment and became a victim of abuse. Hopefully, the police will be able to catch the perpetrator and to fellow ladies out there who is often alone, do be vigilant on your surrounding.
