Qatar Airways is giving away 100,000 flight tickets for free to frontliners in the medical field from all over the world as an expression of gratitude for their efforts in battling the Covid-19 pandemic.

In honour of their dedication to saving humanity during this global crisis, frontline medical workers can apply to receive two return Economy Class flight tickets for themselves and a fellow companion to select locations available on their website. They will also receive 35% off at Qatar Duty-Free outlets at Hamad International Airport in Doha.

If you’re wondering how these frontliners will benefit from this deal since it’s not exactly the best time to travel right now, don’t worry!

The campaign is only set to take effect in the latter half of the year, between 26th May to 10th December 2020. Registration for the campaign will start on 12th May till 31st July or until tickers run out so if you know a frontliner who could use a promo like this, do share the good news with them.

According to their official website, Qatar Airways is making this offer available to all frontline medical professionals and this includes:

  • doctors
  • medical practitioners
  • nurses
  • paramedics
  • lab technicians
  • clinic researchers

If you fall under the following categories, be sure to present your original medical identification at the airport check-in desk during your time of departure. However, do take note that travel restrictions might be different for the countries you apply to travel to and from. To find out more about the campaign, visit Qatar Airways’ website.

What do you guys think of this?
