A teenage boy who reportedly left home after becoming upset that his father wouldn’t let him ride a motorcycle to school has returned home safely, ending a worrying disappearance in Ampang.
The teenager was reported missing after leaving his family home in Kampung Tasik Permai, Ampang, on 20 August.

Teenager returned home, police share why he went missing
In an official statement, Ampang Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Khairul Anuar Khalid said police received a missing-person report after the teenager’s father reported that his son had left home and had not returned.
According to Khairul, the teenager is approximately 145cm tall, weighs 45kg, has fair skin and does not wear glasses.
However, to his family’s relief, the teenager returned home around 2 AM on Tuesday (25 August). Police said he was found to be safe and had not suffered any injuries.
Investigations later revealed that the teenager allegedly left home after becoming upset when his father refused to let him ride a motorcycle to school, according to China Press.

While the reason behind his disappearance may seem minor, the incident raised concerns about his safety, especially after his family was left unsure of his whereabouts.
Police confirmed that the teenager is now safely back home with his family.
