Petron Petrol Station in Penang Goes Viral For Offering Free Nasi Lemak & Coffee to Customers

With the rising cost of living, a lot of Malaysians are often struggling to simply survive and afford basic necessities such as food.

However, thankfully, there appears to be no shortage of kind hearted Malaysians.

A Twitter user recently took to the platform to share that the a Petron petrol station in Penang offers free nasi lemak and coffee.

In a post by @piqalee, she wrote, “Not that important but there’s one Petron near my office that provides free nasi lemak and coffee every morning. After I noticed this, I have never fueled up my car at other stations.”

“Nice gesture makes me wanna support!”

 

Not the only one

The post has since gone viral and plenty of netizens took to the comments section to praise Petron for the wonderful initiative. A few users even pointed out that they have received other free things at other Petron stations.

“Is this Petron Perda? I always refuel there and take the free nasi lemak because the staff would ask me to take some and coffee as well. It’s only on certain days.”

“The other day I got free Mandarin oranges and air bandung at Petron TTDI,” commented a user.

Meanwhile, another user shared that they also received free nasi lemak at a Petron in Seremban.

The post has since caught the attention of Petron’s official Twitter account where they then explained that it’s part of their Wonderful Wednesday programme which takes place at all stations nationwide.
