In his live updates today, Health Director-General, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah informed that we recorded 563 cases in total with Sabah recording the highest number of cases at 291 positive Covid-19 cases.
However, the one that caught everyone by surprise was Penang recording the highest spike at 141 total cases today.
All of the 141 local transmission cases are isolated and from a remanded prison cluster. The cases are all separated from the local community and within the prison walls only.
Despite the cases being isolated, don’t let your guards down Penangites. With the number of cases still high, all we can do is abide by SOPs at all times!
