PDRM is Tracking Down Motorcyclist Who Hurled Stones & Shattered a Glass Wall at PAS HQ

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is currently tracking down a suspect who threw stones at PAS Headquarters in Jalan Raja Laut, Kuala Lumpur.

The suspect, who was seen riding a motorcycle hurled stones in the direction of the PAS Headquarters and ended up breaking a glass wall yesterday (29 July) at around 5.30am.

As reported by BERNAMA, Police Inspector-General (IGP) Tan Sri Razarudin Husain confirmed that PDRM received a report in connection to the incident. The police are now tracking down the suspect with the assistance of the Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL).

The IGP asserted,

“In the incident, the suspect, who was riding a motorcycle, had made some noise before hurling the stones at the glass wall of the building. Guards on duty in the building witnessed the incident.

“Police are tacking down the suspect and Insya-Allah (God’s willing), we will track him down soon,”

To that end, the police are reviewing the CCTV cameras in the nearby areas to assist in their investigation to identify the suspect.

The case is currently being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for committing mischief.

The incident happened a few hours before the nomination process for the 6 State Elections began.
