In the “season” of increased prices of goods, many of us are struggling to make ends meet and we’re doing our best to provide for our families and ourselves. If you can afford something luxurious, by all means, go ahead and pamper yourself after a stressful day!

Dato Seri Vida’s ex-BF and former personal assistant, Iqbal Zulkefli may have just revealed how much he makes approximately in a month. In his recent Instagram story, Iqbal, who runs his own business said that he cannot survive if he doesn’t make RM50,000 in a month. That is because he needs to cope with his commitments, which has remained unchanged for years.

“I need at least RM50,000 for my commitments alone, which has been the case since 2018.”

In fact, his set of dishware alone cost him RM25,000, as revealed via his IG story in which he shared a screenshot of his monthly electricity bill that amounts to nearly RM1,700. Not only that but Iqbal also spends thousands monthly to get milk formula for his adopted son, Ziyad.

“I work hard to sell my products, and the money I get is instantly used to pay bills. I cannot survive on a daily basis if I don’t make RM50,000 every month.”

Iqbal also emphasised that he has never relied on anyone but himself to be financially stable. The 5-figure that he makes every month is only enough to cover his commitments and not yet his ‘wants’.

On his Instagram, Iqbal also sells some of his used furniture at a lower price which initially cost thousands when he bought them.

“Same but different”

When responding to netizens who questioned him about online shopping, Iqbal tried to be polite without showing off and said that the things he bought may look similar online but they’re not the same.

“My sofa cost RM26,000 and my TV set cost RM30,000. Please don’t compare them with those you see online. They look the same but they’re different. Have pity on me,” Iqbal said.
